"HEARTBREAK KID" SHAWN MICHAELS

What happened to Shawn Michaels that made him stop actually wrestling ?

Shawn took a bad bump on a casket during a match with the Undertaker at the 1998 Royal Rumble. That, combined with his high-risk style, caused him a lot of problems, and he had surgery to fuse vertebrae in his back. His last match was at Wrestlemania against Steve Austin that year. Rather than come back at less than a hundred percent, Shawn has opted to retire. He did compete in a streetfight match for his promotion, the Texas Wrestling Alliance, this past year, but it was mostly a brawl, and Shawn pointed out that it was "not a wrestling match."

Was the 1995 Shawn Michaels fainting in the ring against Owen Hart real or fake ?

It was a work. Shawn had been attacked in a parking lot on October 14th, 1995, in a real incident. The WWF played off his attack, and had him "pass out" during a November 20th match with Owen Hart, after Owen had hit him with an enzugiri.

What happened that time Shawn Michaels was attacked by the thugs ?

The general consensus is that Michaels, Sean Waltman (X-Pac) and Davey Smith (Bulldog) were emerging from a bar in Syracuse, when they were confronted by a group of men. Some of the guys held Smith and Waltman back, while the rest of them gave Shawn a beating, which resulted in a brief hospitalisation. It also forced Michaels to forfeit the IC belt to Shane Douglas a few nights later.

What was it that exactly happened the night in MSG with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash ?

It was Nash and Hall's last night in the company. Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) lost to Triple H, as fans chanted "You Sold Out" at Hall. After the match, Hall tried to say something to the crowd, but the mic cut out. Later that night, Shawn Michaels defeated Diesel (Kevin Nash) in a steel cage match. After the bout, Hall and Triple H came out and the four men hugged and celebrated together. The incident caused a lot of backstage heat, as the Heels, Triple H and Nash, were celebrating with the Babyfaces, Michaels and Hall. With Hall and Nash leaving for WCW, and Michaels the WWF World Champion, Triple H ended up taking the heat, and was punished. Hunter had been scheduled to take the 1996 King of the Ring, but all plans were scrapped and Hunter engaged in a Main Event Calibre feud with.....Henry Godwinn. DX later used a handheld video of the event during an episode of RAW.
